John Hagedorn is a retired technology company CFO. He retired in 2000 after working at the CFO level for 15 years in technology and 8 before that in transportation.
Since 2001 he has consulted 30 young technology companies. He has helped his clients segment and size markets, develop financial plans, raise capital, license technology, cut burn rates, recruit professionals and manage exits.
In his consulting, John draws on his 35 years in finance which include long stints with large multinationals such as Philco-Ford, IU International and Intel and later CFO assignments at venture funded startups and newly public companies. He was VP Finance for P-I-E, Controller of Intel Components, and CFO for Intel Europe and then for Data I/O, IC Works, C-Cube, and Premisys Communications.
He is a graduate of Yale and Harvard Business School. He is an entrepreneur-partner for Formative Ventures and a member of the Systems Consulting Consortium. He has served on the boards and advisory boards of a number of private companies.
