JOB SUMMARY OF OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

Candidates for this position must be able to install, implement and deploy the Computer Associates ServicePlus suite of products. The candidate must also be able to modify the ITSM products to meet customer requirements. Candidate will be expected to work with customers to deliver quality product in the time negotiated. This will require the ability to work independently and in teams, both onsite and from home.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide CA ServicePlus consulting services to customer
  • Perform requirements gathering meetings and research
  • Develop custom workflow for ServicePlus
  • Install and configure CA ServicePlus, Knowledge Tools and Dashboard
  • Guide customers in best practice methodologies related to IT Service Management
  • Install, and in some cases create, integrations between ServicePlus and 3rd party software
  • Assist with pre-sales as required

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Knowledge of Oracle or MS-SQL
  • Knowledge of Web services / XML
  • Independent work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Currently living in the United States, within 50 miles of a major airport
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to represent Xinify Technologies Inc. in a professional manner.
  • Able to maintain confidences as appropriate to position;
  • Able to lift 35 - 50 pounds unassisted; Ability to travel 30-80%

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Minimum Qualifications -
  • 2 years experience installing UniCenter Service Desk Service Plus 6.0, Knowledge Tools and Dashboard
  • Knowledge of UniCenter SDO (software delivery) and AMO (asset management)
  • Customizing SD and Dashboard
Extra consideration given for -
  • Previous consulting experience
  • Domain knowledge in IT Service Management
  • Domain knowledge in Portfolio Management
  • Experience with CA Clarity
