JOB SUMMARY OF OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

The candidates must have experience with the Clarity Data Model, the Clarity DataMart, Clarity Time Slicing, and the Clarity Blob Tables. Preferably the candidate should have attended the Clarity Boot Camp Technical Track and the additional Actuate Report Training.

It is a big plus if the candidate has worked extensively on Actuate on other Applications (like Siebel).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must gather requirements, design the report and create a design document. Develop and deploy the reports.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Strong Reporting developer skills in Actuate 6,7 & 8
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle 8 or 9), MSSQL Server 2000
• Ability to write stored procedures, views in MSSQL and Oracle
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Travel 50 - 75%, from your home to the client office
• HTML, Java or XML knowledge / development is a plus.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

5 - 6 years of in-depth Actuate Report development on multiple applications. Solid Experience in creating Views Stored Procedures on Oracle and MSSQL

Extra Consideration given for

Candidates worked on multiple reporting tools like Crystal, Business Objects other than Actuate.
