JOB SUMMARY OF OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

We are seeking a Systems Administrator with 2- 4 yrs of experience to join our technical support team. A thorough understanding of Windows administration is a must, and experience with Linux is preferred. Good judgment and attention to detail are essential. Expect to be on-call 24 / 7

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

IP routing
TCP/IP, DHCP, WLAN
LAN/WAN environment
Manage DNS records (A, CNAME, MX)
Windows Server (MCSE certification would be plus, then candidate would have a standard working knowledge)
Unix/Linux (familiar with Red Hat Linux)
Apache and VSFTP Virtual Hosting
Previous help desk support
Installation and configuration of Oracle and MS SQL
Scripting language (Perl, PHP, Unix BASH, DOS batch)
Expect to be on-call 24 / 7
