The administrative support theme reports and portlets are designed to provide Clarity Client Support teams additional tools to more effectively manage the Clarity data.
Automated Open/Close Time Periods Job
include leading hardware and software infrastructure organizations as well as enterprise software providers that provide powerful, bundled solutions to meet customer business and technical requirements.
This custom job is design to automate the weekly opening and closing of Clarity time periods. The time periods must be created manually and exist for this job to function properly. Two parameters are required for this job. The first numeric parameter designates the number of time periods in the past from the current time period to set to open. The second numeric parameter designates the number of time periods in the future to set to open. All other time periods will be set to close.

The compliance theme reports and portlets are designed to provide Clarity Client Support teams additional tools to more effectively manage the Clarity data and to ensure compliance to established policies and procedures.
Overdue Timesheet Notification Job
This custom job sends email notifications to the resource that have timesheets that are not submitted for open time periods in the past (excludes the current time period). For example if the time periods run from Sunday to Saturday and the job is scheduled to run on Tuesday the email notifications are sent for open time periods for the prior weeks. The resource will only receive one notification for all un-submitted timesheets in all the prior open time periods. This job does not consider the resource notification settings but utilizes the email address and NSA email server settings to send emails to delinquent timesheet resources.

The Financial Management Theme reports and portlets are designed to provide additional analysis and review capabilities for Finance departments, project managers are anyone else responsible for capitalization or managing project or departmental budgets.
Labor Distribution by OBS (Hours, Revenue, Cost) Report
This report enables a client who is not using financials to calculate the cost, rate and revenue based on the time entry data. The report parameters allow the user to enter a single blended cost and rate for the dollar calculation. An additional parameter allows the user to select the calendar year to calculate the year to date totals. This report groups by the resource OBS and provide by project hours, revenue, cost, and net totals

Resource Demand by Goal - Pie Chart Portlet
This is a pie chart portlet that will display Resource Demand (allocation, assignments or actuals) by Goal by time periods selected. It will allow Project Sponsors, Project Approval Boards, etc. to make decisions regarding resource utilization against corporate goals and objectives by graphically displaying how resources are aligned against the most important strategic initiatives. It does this by comparing the selected demand against all of the corporate goals.

Resource Demand by Goal - Bar Graph Portlet
This is a bar graph portlet that will display Resource Demand (allocation, assignments and actuals) by Goal by time periods selected. It will allow Project Sponsors, Project Approval Boards, etc. to make decisions regarding resource utilization against corporate goals and objectives by graphically displaying how resources are aligned against the most important strategic initiatives.
It does this by comparing allocations, assignments and actuals against all of the corporate goals. When you click on a bar, a list of projects represented by that bar will appear.

Resource Supply vs. Demand Portlet
This portfolio provides an executive view of resource supply versus demand by Resource OBS. It allows executive teams to see at a glance the availability of all resources in the OBS in order to plan the effective utilization of those resources.

Project Summary Report
This report provides summary details for all projects. It is very similar to the Project Listing Report.

Project Actuals by Resource OBS Report
This report displays monthly project actuals data summarized at the project, resource OBS and resource levels. It is a summary level report designed to help upper level management compare actuals for each department.

Program Hours Comparison Portlet
This portlet is designed to compare actual hours, planned hours and baseline hours to date by Program. This is a bar graph portlet that displays the Hours on the Y-axis and Programs on the X-axis. This portlet has drill-down capabilities that will display the projects and sub-projects that comprise the data at the program level.

This portlet is designed to compare actual hours, planned hours and baseline hours by Project OBS. This is a column graph portlet that displays the Hours on the Y-axis and Project OBS on the X-axis.

Project Resource Allocation Summary Report by Date Range Report
This report will display total project actuals, project actuals for date range selected, total resource actuals, resource actuals for time period selected for selected by project.

Program Dashboard Portlet
These portlets will provide a summary view of all of the projects in a program. This dashboard will aggregate all of the individual project data into the following summary portlets: Issues by Priority, Late Tasks and Milestones, Open Milestones and Team Capacity. These portlets will display on the Program Dashboard tab.

Project Actuals Report
This report displays actuals for a selected date range. It will display by Project Name, Resource and total actuals for the dates selected.

The Resource Management Theme reports provide Resource Managers with additional analysis tools that will help them understand what their resources are working on, how much they are working and a summary view of past demand.
Resource Project Allocation Summary Report by Date Range Report
This report will display resource allocation summary information. Each resource that matches parameters selected (i.e. Resource OBS or resource name, etc.) will display general resource properties at the top and then will display project(s) that meet the search criteria. The project display section will display project properties and resource actual information for each project.

The Resource Management Theme reports provide Resource Managers with additional analysis tools that will help them understand what their resources are working on, how much they are working and a summary view of past demand.
Resource Actuals Report
This is a grid portlet that will be used to track resource allocations, assignments, actuals and estimates to complete (ETC’s) by project to ensure that resources are being used effectively and as allocated to the project by the resource manager.
Project managers can use this portlet to see how the resources on their projects are being utilized and how much time they are actually spending on the project based on posted actuals. This is a summary level report and can be viewed by Resource only, Resource OBS, Resource Manager, Project Name or Project OBS.

The Resource Management Theme reports provide Resource Managers with additional analysis tools that will help them understand what their resources are working on, how much they are working and a summary view of past demand.
Resource Contact Information Portlet
This portlet combines the data from the resource properties page and the contact information to display a resource contact information sheet. Because resource information is stored in CA Clarity, it will do away with manual resource tracking information.
Time Management Theme
The Time Management Theme reports provide Resource Managers, Project Managers with additional analysis tools that will help them review timesheet data.
Project Timesheet Details Report
This report will be used to monitor the burn rate against a project’s total effort as well as provide time sheet details for the projects. The report will always display previous time reporting period, current time reporting period and the totals for all periods for the project. The report will pull time reporting periods based on the current date and how the time periods are setup in your Clarity system.

The Time Management Theme reports provide Resource Managers, Project Managers with additional analysis tools that will help them review timesheet data.
Pending Actuals Report
This report will be used by the project/resource manager or anyone else responsible for timesheets and approval in order to monitor pending actuals against a project. The portlet will display pending actuals at the lowest level assigned (i.e. tasks if resources are assigned to this level).
In addition, it will display the previous and current time periods, project start and finish dates and status of the task (i.e. Not Started, Started or Completed). If the actuals are pending then it's the result of timesheets not being submitted approved or posted and certain actions must be taken in order for the pending actuals to post.
